The Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld San Antonio takes place on select dates now through May 21. For 2023, SeaWorld touts forty-five new menu offerings with over one hundred flavors. Guests can enjoy quality bites and drinks from ten country-themed booths, including Brazil, Japan, Italy and Germany. We also check out the current progress of the park's new-for-2023 attraction, Catapult Falls. The new water ride is touted as the world's first launched flume coaster.

The Seven Seas Food Festival takes place now through May 21. Though all food and drink offerings can be purchased individually, SeaWorld San Antonio also offers sampler cards, which cut down on overall costs and make booth transactions a breeze. SeaWorld San Antonio’s Seven Seas Food Festival features a number of booths themed to specific countries and areas of the world. For 2023, the Hawaii booth rolled out a number of new offerings. We tried the all-new Hula Dog and Hawaiian Macaroni Salad with Spam. These two items quickly become a pair of our festival favorites.

Make sure to always be on the look out for these large Seven Seas Food Festival markers, which indicate the locations of each booth and feature menu offerings. This marker for the Japan booth provided quite the picturesque look at the park’s Steel Eel roller coaster. Guests can also take a lap on their favorite roller coasters and attractions before the summer heat waves set in.

One of the new offerings at the Korea booth this year is the chicken bulgogi bowl. Though it looks quite similar to the returning beef bulgogi bowl, this new offering carries its own flavor palette with well-seasoned chicken instead. The next booth down the pathway, Jamaica, also featured a handful of new items. These include the jerked chicken macaroni and cheese among others.

Our adventure around the Seven Seas Food Festival also involved a quick look at the park’s new Catapult Falls attraction, set to open later in 2023. The first-of-its-kind ride combines the thrill of a launched roller coaster, the excitement of a vertical lift elevator that lifts riders above the theme park, and a water flume ride with the steepest drop, to produce multiple rushes of adrenaline.

Next up are the Greece and Italy booths. From Greece, we went full on dessert with the new loukoumades, a donut-like treat with honey. At the Italy booth, we picked up the fan-favorite Italian meatball slider, which is delicious as always. New for 2023 includes a pistachio gelato, which was creamy and not overly-sweet, making it a great dessert offering in a theme park setting.

On top of the dozens of delicious food and drink offerings, SeaWorld San Antonio also features a handful of entertainment offerings during the Seven Seas Food Festival. This includes the Groove Chefs, which roam to multiple locations around the park, the Living Garden featured near the Japan booth and ¡Baile Folklórico! traditional dance performances near the Mexico booth.

The final trek of festival booths took us to Germany, France and Mexico. Germany is one of our all-time favorite booths and the new beer cheese spaetzle with beer cheese and blueberry cake are exceptional additions to the menu. France, which primarily revolves around crepe offerings, also had new additions. The crab and spinach crepe featured bold seafood flavors and were incredibly fresh. At Mexico, we tried multiple taco offerings, along with the fried elote con queso. None of these offerings let us down!

Though we’ve talked in detail about food offerings and live entertainment, let us not forget about the abundance of photo opportunities. Several Seven Seas Food Festival booths feature fun, and interactive, photo opportunities that highlight a cultural, food or art aspect of said country.
