Several park improvements continue to play out during the spring, including a major overhaul of the El Sombrero attraction. The classic ride is in the process of receiving a fresh coat of paint for the first time since 2006. The Mexico and France sections have also received minor theming upgrades. Some ride refurbishments, such as The Joker and the Runaway Mine Train system upgrades, are still in progress.

Improvements with guest satisfaction in mind continue to formulate throughout the park. New ride lockers have arrived at Aquaman: Power Wave. This free locker system will help keep loose article issues at a minimum. A second Roller Coaster Coffee is also on its way near the front gate, which will serve Starbucks products.
