SeaWorld is giving shark fin-atics the ultimate encounter in its parks with a brand new ‘Ultimate Shark Experience’ ticket that goes on sale today, just in time for shark week.  Only at SeaWorld and only available for ONE WEEK, this new ticket offers a full day of unique and immersive experiences to enable guests to get up close to see, feed, touch and learn about sharks, know what it’s like to move like a shark on shark inspired thrill rides, take home shark swag, and honor the ocean’s Very Important Predators with $25 of every ticket going to shark conservation.

SeaWorld is dimming the lights in its Sea Star Theatre and featuring a new glow-in-the-dark puppet show musical, ImaginOcean. This theatrical performance is packed with a fun musical score, amazing puppetry, and dazzling neon colors. Created by Broadway sensation John Tartaglia, this one-of-a-kind show is a must see for summer 2023. The glow-in-the-dark spectacular will join an already impressive lineup of amazing shows and is the perfect summer entertainment for families.

Aquatica San Antonio, located at SeaWorld San Antonio, is a large theme park that features several high-thrill slides and plenty of children's activities. New for 2023 is Kata's Kookaburra Cove, a 3,000-square-foot children's area with interactive water elements. The Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld San Antonio takes place on select dates now through May 21. For 2023, SeaWorld touts forty-five new menu offerings with over one hundred flavors. Guests can enjoy quality bites and drinks from ten country-themed booths, including Brazil, Japan, Italy and Germany. We also check out the current progress of the park's new-for-2023 attraction, Catapult Falls. The new water ride is touted as the world's first launched flume coaster.

SeaWorld is kicking off spring 2023 with the city’s biggest and best food festival, now packed with more flavor than ever! This year at San Antonio’s largest theme park food festival, foodies can enjoy over 100 chef and mixologist-curated tastes inspired by cultures from across the seven seas. Guests can sample and sip international flavors from Brazil, Korea, Italy, Greece, Hawaii, Japan, France, Jamaica, Mexico, and Germany. The festival takes place every Thursday through Sunday from March 23rd through May 21st.

SeaWorld and Aquatica are opening daily for the 2023 Spring Break season beginning March 3, 2023. SeaWorld is launching Passport to Thrills, an exclusive program for pass members. From now until May 14 pass members can opt-in and begin to qualify for exclusive access and bonus experiences just by visiting Texas’ Biggest and Best Theme Park, SeaWorld! The centerpiece of Passport to Thrills is Catapult Falls, a new attraction for 2023 that is a first-of-its-kind ride that is part coaster and part flume ride, with a vertical lift elevator leading to a steep drop and a water splash down.

SeaWorld is putting its spin on the traditional Mardi Gras celebration by bringing the Big Easy to San Antonio with the SeaWorld Mardi Gras event kicking off on Saturday, January 14th. The entire park will be jazzed up for a New Orleans style carnival, complete with live music, extravagant costumes, Mardi Gras-inspired culinary specials including new, expanded and returning Cajun and Creole food items, alcoholic drink specials; in addition to thrilling rides and animal encounters.

SeaWorld San Antonio brings back their Christmas Celebration now through January 2. Guests can experience millions of Christmas lights in overlays throughout the park, photo opportunities, live entertainment offerings, specialty food and drink and visits with Santa Claus. SeaWorld San Antonio today announced the construction of a NEW water flume coaster, Catapult Falls, coming in 2023. The first-of-its-kind ride combines the thrill of a launched roller coaster, the excitement of a vertical lift elevator that lifts riders above the theme park, and a water flume ride with the steepest drop, to produce multiple rushes of adrenaline as well as moments of exciting splashes to cool guests down.

Major construction continues at SeaWorld San Antonio with more land clearing across from the Wave Breaker roller coaster. Other construction projects are also happening, including multiple new haunted house buildings. We take a tour of the all-new Coaster Coffee shop, the summer's Electric Ocean event and HydroPower: Xtreme FX closing show to finish up the night.

Texas Stingray, a wooden coaster, opened at SeaWorld San Antonio on February 22, 2020. The thrilling family attraction was designed by Dustin Sloane of Skyline Attractions and manufactured by Great Coasters International. Texas Stingray stands 96 feet tall and reaches a top speed of 55 miles per hour.

Steel Eel is SeaWorld San Antonio's second oldest and tallest roller coaster. Officially opened on March 6, 1999, the attraction features a height of 150 feet and top speed of 65 miles per hour. Built by Morgan, Steel Eel includes a whopping 3,700 feet of track length.

Opened on June 16, 2017, Wave Breaker is a multi-launch Intamin roller coaster. The attraction reaches heights of 61 feet, a top speed of 44 miles per hour and features a track length of 2,600 feet.

Join us for a ride on Tidal Surge, SeaWorld San Antonio's newest high-thrill attraction. This S&S Screamin' Swing sends riders to heights of 135 feet at a top speed of 68 miles per hour. Lasting 1 minute, 20 seconds, Tidal Surge holds 40 riders and features 230 degrees of rotation per boom arm. When it opened, Tidal Surge was the tallest and fastest ride of its kind in the world.
