Six Flags Over Texas celebrates ¡Viva la Fiesta! now through May 5 with live entertainment, park decor and a special overlay on the Casa Magnetica crooked house. Before our visit, Six Flags Over Texas was hit with flood waters due to a major storm that came through the area, leaving sections and rides closed. Construction has also progressed on the two children's attractions coming to Bugs Bunny Boomtown.

Scream Break returns to Six Flags Over Texas from March 9 to 16, this time with a completely new theme. Attendees can experience the return of Casa Magnetica as the Lōkahi Welcome Center, the all-new Curse of the Polynesian Palm haunted house, multiple live entertainment offerings, specialty characters and a wide selection of adult beverages from themed bars. Construction projects at Six Flags Over Texas continue to move at a rapid pace. Work has picked up on Aquaman: Power Wave and its addition of a turntable and crews continue to prep the all-new Pirates of Speelunker Cave dark ride. The new Mr. Freeze paint job has also progressed, along with several building refurbishments, especially in the park's Old South section. Six Flags Over Texas also continues the parking lot makeover and construction of a new perimeter fence.

Join us for a daytime look of Fright Fest 2021 at Six Flags Over Texas. We take a tour around the park to show off family-friendly activities, including Looney Tunes Spooky Town and entertainment. We also check out the daytime looks of scare zones and haunted house entrances, along with a POV of the limited-run Dia de los Muertos overlay currently inside Casa Magnetica.

¡Viva La Fiesta!, Six Flags Over Texas' newest event, takes place through May 16. Continuing their 60th anniversary celebration, the event features bright decor, Latin-themed entertainment and unique food offerings. Casa Magnetica, which originally opened in 1962, has also reopened to guests after a decade of closure.
