2023 projects are in full force at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Recently, it was announced that, along with several new children's slides, the park's connected waterpark would also be rebranded. Taking place now through October 30 is both Kids Boo Fest and Oktoberfest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Fiesta Texas recently gave us the opportunity to tour their all-new Fright Fest haunted house, Trapped! Located in the park's Spassburg section, Trapped is set around an unsightly hospital with gruesome and surprising tricks around every corner. In 2022, Six Flags Fiesta Texas celebrates their 30th anniversary! On top of mini museums, then and now displays and special events, the park also features a 30th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt activity. Located at both Iron Rattler Mercantile and Studio 6F, guests can purchase a scavenger hunt packet. Next up, stroll around the entire park to find each of the ten special 30th anniversary features and match up the stickers. Each packet comes with two 30th anniversary commemorative pens!

White Water Bay, located inside Six Flags Fiesta Texas, is a large water park featuring over a dozen exciting water attractions, cabanas, dining and shopping locations and more. Day three of Roller Coaster Rodeo at Fiesta Texas features an exclusive block brake climb of the upcoming Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger roller coaster. Next, participants walked the tracks of the Fiesta Texas Railroad to catch a unique view of the park, including an adventure through the quarry wall tunnel. The event finished out in White Water Bay with exclusive ride time throughout the whole water park.

Day two of Roller Coaster Rodeo at Six Flags Fiesta Texas was jam-packed with full-park ERT, meals and a behind-the-scenes construction tour and queue design and theming reveal! We take a journey into the construction zone of Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger for a close-up look at the ride structure and continued progress leading up to the attraction's opening. Afterwards, we head to Zaragoza Theatre for an exciting reveal of the new coaster's theming and queue design with a special surprise guest. The day ends with the Rock the Night fireworks show and a Mardi Gras-themed reception.

Day one of Fiesta Texas' Roller Coaster Rodeo enthusiast event kicks off with a presentation inside Zaragoza Theatre with Jeffrey Siebert, the park's president. We learn about several updates currently taking place in the park, along with plans coming in 2023. Next up is the event's Fright Nights portion, which features exclusive ride time on Iron Rattler and other Crackaxle Canyon attractions, along with spooky visits through haunted houses.

Construction continues on Fiesta Texas' newest high-thrill roller coaster, Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger. The attraction's outdoor queue and station have begun to take shape. We also head over to Sangerfest Halle to check out more enhancements to the dining location's ongoing remodel and much more.

The 30th Anniversary Festival, which celebrates Six Flags Fiesta Texas' 30th birthday, takes place now through May 30. On top of then and now displays and mini museums, the event also features the 30th Anniversary Food Festival and the return of historical shows. Since our last visit to the park, Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger has seen completion of its track and support install! Crews now work on fine details, such as the indoor queue and rust effects on support columns. Plus, work continues on Sangerfest Halle and a new, upgraded drink refill station opens in Crackaxle Canyon. After being acquired by Six Flags, Inc. in the 90s, Fiesta Texas underwent several yearly expansions to provide a well-rounded theme park experience. These included the addition of four marquee roller coasters from 1997 to 2000, several children's and flat rides, new waterpark attractions and more. Construction of Fiesta Texas' newest roller coaster, Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger, is moving at electric pace as the lift hill install is complete and crews have begun working on the first drop.
