Ride Spotlight - Dino Off Road Adventure at Six Flags Over Texas
Dino Off Road Adventure, new for 2024 at Six Flags Over Texas, is the park's reimagining of the Chaparral Antique Cars. Featuring fifteen dinosaur animatronics, riders jump into the four-person vehicle and drive along 1,470 feet of track. Dino Off Road Adventure's new vehicles were designed closely alongside blueprints from original Arrow antique cars.
Ride Spotlight: Multi-Angle POV - Pirates of Speelunker Cave, Six Flags Over Texas | 2023 Changes & Upgrades
Pirates of Speelunker Cave opened at Six Flags Over Texas on May 14, 2022 and sees many new changes for its grand reopening in 2023. Can you spot them all? Riders board the attraction and venture into Speelunker Cave. Soon enough, you are greeted by a band of pirates looking for lost treasure. Upon bracing a storm, a kraken, mermaids and more, the exploration takes riders deep into Speelunker territory. Over 60 Speelunkers greet guests with a custom soundtrack, projections and other effects. In the end, the pirates of no match for the Speelunkers and fail their treasure-hunting mission. Join us for a multi-angle POV of this attraction that revitalizes the classic Six Flags Over Texas character.
Ride Spotlight - Mr. Freeze at Six Flags Over Texas | Coaster's 25th Anniversary
Mr. Freeze, a Premier Rides LIM launch coaster, officially opened at Six Flags Over Texas in 1998. In 2023, the iconic attraction celebrates its 25th anniversary! Mr. Freeze begins by launching riders from 0 to 70 miles per hour in 3.8 seconds. Soon after, the attraction travels through a top hat inversion, into an overbanked turn and up the 218-foot tall spike. What happens next? Riders complete the whole circuit backwards! With two inversions and a track length of only 1,300 feet, Mr. Freeze's ride experience lasts under one minute.
Ride Spotlight - Aquaman: Power Wave at Six Flags Over Texas | North America's First of its Kind!
Aquaman: Power Wave is the first ride of its kind to debut in North America. Built by Mack Rides, this high-thrill PowerSplash attraction features both forwards and backwards launches, reaching top speeds of sixty-three miles per hour. The water coaster also includes two spikes that stand at 148 feet tall and send riders plummeting ninety degrees. After multiple launches along the attraction’s 712-foot track, Aquaman: Power Wave ends with a huge splashdown.

Ride Spotlight - Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger at Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger, the world's steepest B&M dive coaster, officially opened on July 30, 2022 at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The park's 11th roller coaster, Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger reaches speeds of 60 miles per hour and a height of 150 feet. Riders are hung over the attraction's 95-degree first drop before plummeting down and into two inversions.
Ride Spotlight - Dare Devil Dive Flying Machines at Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Dare Devil Dive Flying Machines, a Zamperla Super Air Race, officially opened at Six Flags Fiesta Texas on March 6, 2021. Riders board six plane units and reach heights of 48 feet. Spinning at 6.5 RPM, each ride unit features a different, unique cycle. The attraction also features extensive steampunk theming, a custom soundtrack and several lighting and fire effects.
Ride Spotlight - Oil Derrick at Six Flags Over Texas
Built by Intamin, Oil Derrick opened to guests at Six Flags Over Texas on May 24, 1969. This observation tower gives a great calming view of the park and surrounding areas from two observation decks at 255 feet and 267 feet. Between 1969 and 1975, Oil Derrick even featured a 12-lane slide attractions from its 47-foot tall first level. Standing 300 feet tall, Oil Derrick remains an iconic staple to the skyline of Six Flags Over Texas.
Ride Spotlight - Shock Wave at Six Flags Over Texas
Opened April 22, 1978, Shock Wave is a classic Schwarzkopf steel roller coaster at Six Flags Over Texas. Standing 116 feet tall and reaching speeds of 60 miles per hour, Shock Wave was the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world when opened. The attraction also features back-to-back loops with a staggering 5.9 Gs. Shock Wave also features plenty of air time moments.
Ride Spotlight - DC Super-Villains Swing at Six Flags Fiesta Texas
DC Super-Villians Swing came to life in the summer of 2019. The attraction itself, however, has been a Fiesta Texas staple since the park's opening season in 1992. Riders board their own swing and fly through the skies of DC Universe.
Ride Spotlight - The Joker Carnival of Chaos at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, PLUS Funhouse Walk-Through
Officially opened on August 10, 2019, The Joker Carnival of Chaos is a record-breaking Zamperla Giga Discovery attraction. The ride stands 172 feet tall and reaches top speeds of 75 miles per hour. The queue line is also equipped with an incredibly-themed funhouse experience!
Ride Spotlight - The Riddler Revenge at Six Flags Over Texas
The Riddler Revenge, a Zamperla Giant Discovery, opened at Six Flags Over Texas in 2016. The attraction stands at a height of 147 feet and reaches a max speed of 68 miles per hour. With these statistics, The Riddler Revenge stands out as one of the most intense and exciting flat ride attractions in the park.
Ride Spotlight - El Diablo at Six Flags Over Texas
Standing at 100 feet tall, El Diablo is the tallest ride of its kind in the world. Each ride cycle holds up to 32 guests whom experience a total of 6 inversions. The attraction also features a single-rider line and is equipped for Flash Pass entry.
Ride Spotlight - Grand Carousel at Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Grand Carousel is one of the park's original opening season attractions dating back to 1992. The attraction was reopened in Spassburg in July of 2018 after an extensive refurbishment.

In 2011, however, Rocky Mountain Construction transformed the wooden coaster in to the first-ever hybrid roller coaster: New Texas Giant. New Texas Giant features a 79-degree first drop, speeds of up to 65 miles per hour, and tons of air time elements.
