We're Not Covering Six Flags Over Texas Fall Events, Here's Why

Our most recent visit to Six Flags Over Texas, which was meant to cover the Oktoberfest Food Festival, Kids Boo Fest and additional Fright Fest activities, was cut short when we were denied access due to our camera. We've brought this camera into the park several times, including just two nights before, to cover the park as it doesn't violate any posted rules. Nobody from Six Flags was equipped to provide us with documentation regarding what their actual camera policy is.

Schwarzkopf's Big Bend Roller Coaster | History of Six Flags Series

Big Bend, a Schwarzkopf Speed Racer roller coaster, called Six Flags Over Texas home from 1971 to 1979. When it opened, it was the park's tallest and fastest roller coaster. Big Bend reached a top speed of 52 miles per hour, climbed up to 81 feet tall and featured 2,876 feet of track.
