Lost Island Theme Park Tour & Review | Immersive Themed Lands & Rides, Plus New Coaster for 2025
Lost Island Theme Park, one of North America's newest parks, opened in 2022 in Waterloo, Iowa. The park is themed to an enchanted tropical island with incredibly immersive areas and rides to match. To date, Lost Island is home to three roller coasters, including Nopuko Air Coaster and Matugani and an award-winning dark ride, Volkanu: Quest for the Golden Idol. During our visit, the park announced their 2025 addition, a RMC Raptor roller coaster named Fire Runner.
Valleyfair Tour & Review | Beautiful Theme Park with Classic Rides Located Near Minneapolis
Valleyfair theme park, located in Shakopee, Minnesota, first opened in 1976 with one roller coaster being its star attraction. In 1978, Cedar Point purchased Valleyfair and would go on to create the Cedar Fair theme park chain. Today, Valleyfair is home to eight roller coasters, including Wild Thing and Renegade, several flat rides and the Soak City water park.
Nickelodeon Universe Mall of America Tour & Review | Huge Indoor Theme Park with Multiple Coasters
Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America, located in Bloomington, Minnesota, is a large indoor theme park that originally opened in 1992 as Knott's Camp Snoopy. In 2008, the park would transform into Nickelodeon Universe that overhauled its theme. Today, Nickelodeon Universe features five roller coasters, a heavily themed log ride, and over two dozen other rides and attractions.

The highly anticipated thrill ride is the world’s first launched flume coaster and features the steepest drop in any flume ride. It also has the unique distinction of being the only flume ride in North America to feature a vertical lift.

Today, SeaWorld San Antonio announced that their new Catapult Falls attraction will be delayed until 2024. SeaWorld sent the update to pass members, which states, “Our upcoming attraction Catapult Falls - the first launched, flume coaster in the world - is now expected to open in 2024. While we hoped to introduce this exciting thrill to our fans this year, sometimes it takes longer than expected to bring ‘firsts’ to life.”

The centerpiece of Passport to Thrills is Catapult Falls, a new attraction for 2023 that is a first-of-its-kind ride that is part coaster and part flume ride, with a vertical lift elevator leading to a steep drop and a water splash down.

Opened on June 16, 2017, Wave Breaker is a multi-launch Intamin roller coaster. The attraction reaches heights of 61 feet, a top speed of 44 miles per hour and features a track length of 2,600 feet.

Cheetah Hunt, a steel Intamin launch coaster, opened on May 27, 2011. Located at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, this high thrill attraction features a 130-foot drop, speeds of up to 60 miles per hour, 1 inversion and 3 separate launches.
Hersheypark Maintenance Shop Tour, In-Depth Look at Park's Roller Coasters & Zoo!

Originally opened in 1906, the legendary Hersheypark features over 75 rides and attractions. Located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the park sits on 121 acres and also features a water park.
Ride Spotlight - Oil Derrick at Six Flags Over Texas
Built by Intamin, Oil Derrick opened to guests at Six Flags Over Texas on May 24, 1969. This observation tower gives a great calming view of the park and surrounding areas from two observation decks at 255 feet and 267 feet. Between 1969 and 1975, Oil Derrick even featured a 12-lane slide attractions from its 47-foot tall first level. Standing 300 feet tall, Oil Derrick remains an iconic staple to the skyline of Six Flags Over Texas.
