Howl-O-Scream 2024, SeaWorld San Antonio | Walking Through Haunts, New Monster-Filled Terror-Tories
Howl-O-Scream, SeaWorld San Antonio's Halloween event, has returned in 2024 on select dates through October 27. This year's spooky festivities include the return of six free haunted houses, along with new terror-tories that feature unique monsters and creepy creatures. Rescue Jr. SeaWorld San Antonio Construction Update | October 2024
SeaWorld San Antonio recently announced the new Rescue Jr. area for 2025 and work is already well under way for the transformation. Super Grover's Box Car Racers has been demolished to make way for the new Beach Rescue Racer roller coaster, while other structures within the area have also been removed.

Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld San Antonio is back and scarier than ever! From haunted happenings to spine-tingling surprises, SeaWorld transforms into the biggest and scariest Halloween event in the state of Texas on select days from Friday, September 13 until October 27. SeaWorld Debuts Red, White and BBQ: Tastes of America Festival
SeaWorld San Antonio is thrilled to premiere its Red, White and BBQ festival showcasing the best barbecue from around the country. Beginning August 9 and running through September 2, guests can enjoy BBQ styles from Kansas City, the Carolinas, Texas, Memphis and Hawaii all while strolling the park enjoying rides and animal attractions. SeaWorld San Antonio celebrates 25 years of heart-pounding excitement on the Steel Eel on July 25. In honor of the roller coaster’s 25th anniversary, guests are challenged to ride the Steel Eel 25 times in one day, and those who do will receive an exclusive commemorative t-shirt. All guests will also be treated to delicious cookies, 60th Anniversary cooling towels, and an exciting atmosphere as ambassadors cheer on participants completing the ride challenge.
SeaWorld Announces Early Rise Park Hours to Beat the Afternoon Heat
SeaWorld San Antonio is excited to announce the launch of “Early Rise Hours”, with an earlier morning opening time to help guests beat the hot Texas mid-day heat. Beginning July 13th and on additional select Saturday dates, the park will open at 8 am, two and a half hours earlier than its normal opening time. Guests can take advantage of the cool morning temperatures, grab their morning coffee and breakfast, ride thrilling coasters, and see animals all before the afternoon temperatures rise.

Giant Tortoises Get a Grand New Home at SeaWorld
A new animal attraction is quickly taking shape at SeaWorld San Antonio, but its residents might be a bit slow while roaming around their new home once it is completed. One of the largest tortoises in the world, the Aldabra tortoise – a species currently listed as vulnerable - will soon have a new habitat at SeaWorld San Antonio. Aldabra Island, a new state-of-the-art 7,000 square-foot tortoise habitat will be the perfect size to accommodate the giant reptiles that can weigh upwards of 500 pounds and stand four feet tall.
