Aquaman: Power Wave Spike & Track Installation Begins, Other Updates at Six Flags Over Texas

Aquaman: Power Wave, the park's new Mack PowerSplash roller coaster for 2020, is being rapidly constructed! Last week we showed off the ride's new support beams. This week, however, one of the ride's 148-foot-tall spikes, along with several track pieces, have now been quickly installed. Aquaman: Power Wave Going Vertical | Six Flags Over Texas Construction Update

Aquaman: Power Wave, Six Flags Over Texas' all-new attraction for 2020, is now going vertical as crews begin installing the first pieces of supports! When it opens it will be the first ride of its kind in North America, reaching speeds of 63 miles per hour and a height of 148 feet. We also check out other projects taking place around the park, such as the indoor eating area being constructed on the side of JB's Smokehouse BBQ. A new food option is also now available at the park.
