Spooktacular takes place now through October 30 at SeaWorld San Antonio. Intended for younger guests and those who want a less spooky park experience, the event features a maze with Spookley the Square Pumpkin, trick-or-treat stops, the Sesame Street Halloween Parade and more. SeaWorld San Antonio today announced the construction of a NEW water flume coaster, Catapult Falls, coming in 2023. The first-of-its-kind ride combines the thrill of a launched roller coaster, the excitement of a vertical lift elevator that lifts riders above the theme park, and a water flume ride with the steepest drop, to produce multiple rushes of adrenaline as well as moments of exciting splashes to cool guests down.

Major construction continues at SeaWorld San Antonio with more land clearing across from the Wave Breaker roller coaster. Other construction projects are also happening, including multiple new haunted house buildings. We take a tour of the all-new Coaster Coffee shop, the summer's Electric Ocean event and HydroPower: Xtreme FX closing show to finish up the night.

Texas Stingray, a wooden coaster, opened at SeaWorld San Antonio on February 22, 2020. The thrilling family attraction was designed by Dustin Sloane of Skyline Attractions and manufactured by Great Coasters International. Texas Stingray stands 96 feet tall and reaches a top speed of 55 miles per hour.

Steel Eel is SeaWorld San Antonio's second oldest and tallest roller coaster. Officially opened on March 6, 1999, the attraction features a height of 150 feet and top speed of 65 miles per hour. Built by Morgan, Steel Eel includes a whopping 3,700 feet of track length.

Opened on June 16, 2017, Wave Breaker is a multi-launch Intamin roller coaster. The attraction reaches heights of 61 feet, a top speed of 44 miles per hour and features a track length of 2,600 feet.

Join us for a summer visit to SeaWorld San Antonio! Electric Ocean kicks into full gear with a returning show, nightly fireworks and new concerts. A large construction project has started near Wave Breaker, which is rumored to be a new attraction coming soon. Lasting 1 minute, 20 seconds, Tidal Surge holds 40 riders and features 230 degrees of rotation per boom arm. When it opened, Tidal Surge was the tallest and fastest ride of its kind in the world.
