Viva La Fiesta Festival Coming to Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Six Flags Fiesta Texas, The Thrill Capital of South Texas, is preparing to debut Viva La Fiesta, a month-long celebration of food and culture every Saturday and Sunday from April 15 to May 14, 2023.

¡Viva la Fiesta! takes place at Six Flags Over Texas on select dates now through May 7. The event features vibrant decor, several live entertainment offerings and specialty food items. The park also continues to work on improvements as El Sombrero begins an extensive refurbishment, the Mexico section sees new theming enhancements, ride lockers arrive at Aquaman: Power Wave, a second Roller Coaster Coffee location is teased and more.
Ride Spotlight - Aquaman: Power Wave at Six Flags Over Texas | North America's First of its Kind!
Aquaman: Power Wave is the first ride of its kind to debut in North America. Built by Mack Rides, this high-thrill PowerSplash attraction features both forwards and backwards launches, reaching top speeds of sixty-three miles per hour. The water coaster also includes two spikes that stand at 148 feet tall and send riders plummeting ninety degrees. After multiple launches along the attraction’s 712-foot track, Aquaman: Power Wave ends with a huge splashdown.
Fiesta Texas Announces Major Upgrades for Rebranded Hurricane Harbor, Names of Six New Family Water Attractions
Six Flags Fiesta Texas, The Thrill Capital of South Texas, is preparing to debut an enhanced water park experience on April 29 with the grand opening of Hurricane Harbor San Antonio. The major rebranding includes elevated amenities and ambiance, as well as six new family waterslide and innertube attractions.
SeaWorld’s Seven Seas Food Festival is Back with New Flavors and Drinks
SeaWorld is kicking off spring 2023 with the city’s biggest and best food festival, now packed with more flavor than ever! This year at San Antonio’s largest theme park food festival, foodies can enjoy over 100 chef and mixologist-curated tastes inspired by cultures from across the seven seas. Guests can sample and sip international flavors from Brazil, Korea, Italy, Greece, Hawaii, Japan, France, Jamaica, Mexico, and Germany. The festival takes place every Thursday through Sunday from March 23rd through May 21st.

Frisco City Council Approves Universal Theme Park
Frisco City Council and the Planning & Zoning Commission approved a zoning proposal that would make way for a Universal theme park. The proposed park has been the subject of several public meetings and even some pushback from concerned residents including folks who live just down the street from the area.

Six Flags Reports Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2022 Performance
Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: SIX), the world’s largest regional theme park company and the largest operator of waterparks in North America, today reported fourth quarter revenue of $280 million, Net Income of $13 million, and Adjusted EBITDA of $99 million. For the full year, the company reported revenue of $1,358 million, Net Income of $109 million, and Adjusted EBITDA of $465 million.

The all-new KID FLASH™ Cosmic Coaster, Texas’ only racing roller coaster, is a twin-tracked roller coaster featuring innovative single-rail track and an inclusive train design that provides comfortable seating for both adults and children. Six Flags Over Texas Confirms the Permanent Closure of Harley Quinn Spinsanity
This weekend, Six Flags Over Texas confirmed via Twitter the permanent closure of the Harley Quinn Spinsanity flat ride. Harley Quinn Spinsanity officially opened at Six Flags Over Texas on July 14, 2018 as part of the park’s newer Gotham City area expansion. Harley Quinn Spinsanity featured a unique triple box design, creating the ability to spin around on three different axes at the same time.
