SeaWorld is giving shark fin-atics the ultimate encounter in its parks with a brand new ‘Ultimate Shark Experience’ ticket that goes on sale today, just in time for shark week.  Only at SeaWorld and only available for ONE WEEK, this new ticket offers a full day of unique and immersive experiences to enable guests to get up close to see, feed, touch and learn about sharks, know what it’s like to move like a shark on shark inspired thrill rides, take home shark swag, and honor the ocean’s Very Important Predators with $25 of every ticket going to shark conservation.

Hawaiian Falls Waco is a local water park in Waco, Texas that features a dozen water slides, an 800-foot lazy river, central Texas' first large-scale wave pool and several other family-friendly attractions. In 2023, Hawaiian Falls Waco was named one of the best water parks in the United States by The Edvocate.

Originally opened in 2001, Dollywood's Splash Country is a 35-acre water park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee that features 16 attractions. These include the high-thrill Fire Tower Falls body slides, the TailSpin Racer racing slides and the award-winning RiverRush water coaster. Dollywood's Splash Country was also recognized as the Best New Water Park in America, along with the most Must-See Water Park by IAAPA.

Opened in 2019, Rowdy Bear's Ski Lift Shootout Coaster is one of Pigeon Forge's most unique ride experiences. Suspended below a track, riders are able to enhance their ride experience by aiming and shooting at various targets throughout the layout. Standing up to 60 feet tall with a track length of 1,300 feet, the Ski Lift Shootout Coaster is also America's first-ever alpine flyer. The attraction is one of many that can be enjoyed at Rowdy Bear Mountain in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Opened as the Power Coaster in 2021, the Avalanche Snow Coaster is the world's first and America's only powered alpine coaster (as of the release of this video). Riders board their own powered vehicle and trek along 2,200 feet of track. The unique attraction also allows for side-by-side seating with the main passenger able to control the speed of their vehicle throughout the ride experience. Avalanche Snow Coaster is one of multiple attractions found at Rowdy Bear Mountain in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Dollywood Theme Park first opened in 1961, focusing mostly on a railroad theme. In 1976, the Herschend family purchased the park and it would eventually transform into Silver Dollar City. Fast forward to 1986 and Silver Dollar City would become Dollywood, with part of its ownership being purchased by Dolly Parton. Today, Dollywood has nine roller coasters, including the iconic Lightning Rod and Tennessee Tornado. On top of that, the park features great theming, festivals, award-winning entertainment and the all-new Big Bear Mountain coaster and Wildwood Grove area.

Six Flags Over Texas' Summer Nights Spectacular takes place on Friday and Saturday evenings now through August 12. Guests can enjoy specialty foods, live entertainment, fireworks displays, photo ops and more. Anakeesta Adventure Park, located in Gatlinburg, TN, is a prime destination for amazing views of the mountain landscape and surrounding areas. Anakeesta features several attractions, including ziplines, a mountain coaster, observation tower and more. Join us for a look at the park's experimental sensory garden walk, Vista Gardens, along with the Treetop Skywalk, which features over 800 feet of hanging bridges. One of Anakeesta's prime attractions, Astra Lumina, is also now open. Astra Lumina features eight extraordinary sections that feature cutting-edge multimedia, audio and lighting effects.

Originally opened as the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster in 2014, the Moonshine Mountain Coaster is a high-thrill attraction that features 2,500 feet of track. The Moonshine Mountain Coaster has won a number of local awards, including Best Mountain Coaster of 2021 by Best of Pigeon Forge, Top Mountain Coaster by Visit My Smokies and Most Thrilling Mountain Coaster by the Stony Brook Cabins blog.

First introduced in 2017 as the Rowdy Bear Coaster, the high-thrill Ripley's Mountain Coaster is located in Gatlinburg, TN. This attraction reaches speeds of up to 35 miles per hour while giving a great view of the surrounding landscape.

Recently, Six Flags Fiesta Texas unveiled two new offerings at their park with the ESIX Gaming complex and the VIP Lounge. ESIX Gaming at Six Flags Fiesta Texas is a state-of-the-art esports concept, in collaboration with Coca-Cola and IGN, located in the park’s Los Festivales section. It features a 5v5 event stage format, Razer gaming stations, gaming consoles, live streaming abilities, full-service bar and more. Upstairs, guests can find the VIP Lounge, which features more lounge areas, balcony views of the park, a second bar and light refreshments.

Spanning over three days, we enjoyed close-up views of Superman Krypton Coaster, Road Runner Express, Iron Rattler, the quarry wall, Pandemonium and Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster. We also enjoyed midway games challenges, a Fright Fest preview, backstage tours, a look at the all-new SPLASH Water Parade, the addition of drones to the Oh What A Night: Summer Fireworks Celebration and more.

Summer is in full force at Six Flags Fiesta Texas and changes continue to take place throughout the park. Ride parts for both Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster and new Hurricane Harbor children's slides have begun to arrive. Boomerang has also reopened after receiving a new train and braking and control system. Summer Vibes Festival has also begun, though some elements, such as the Flavors of the World food festival, haven't quite kicked off.

Daily summer operations have begun at Six Flags Over Texas, but that doesn't mean TLC projects have slowed down. SeaWorld is dimming the lights in its Sea Star Theatre and featuring a new glow-in-the-dark puppet show musical, ImaginOcean. This theatrical performance is packed with a fun musical score, amazing puppetry, and dazzling neon colors. Created by Broadway sensation John Tartaglia, this one-of-a-kind show is a must see for summer 2023. The glow-in-the-dark spectacular will join an already impressive lineup of amazing shows and is the perfect summer entertainment for families.

Mr. Freeze, a Premier Rides LIM launch coaster, officially opened at Six Flags Over Texas in 1998. In 2023, the iconic attraction celebrates its 25th anniversary! Mr. Freeze begins by launching riders from 0 to 70 miles per hour in 3.8 seconds. Soon after, the attraction travels through a top hat inversion, into an overbanked turn and up the 218-foot tall spike. What happens next? Riders complete the whole circuit backwards! With two inversions and a track length of only 1,300 feet, Mr. Freeze's ride experience lasts under one minute.

Aquatica San Antonio, located at SeaWorld San Antonio, is a large theme park that features several high-thrill slides and plenty of children's activities. Guests can enjoy attractions, such as Ihu's Breakaway Falls, Tonga Twister and Riptide Race. New for 2023 is Kata's Kookaburra Cove, a 3,000-square-foot children's area with interactive water elements.
