Catapult Falls Front Row 4K POV, SeaWorld San Antonio | Record-Breaking New Log Flume Ride
Catapult Falls at SeaWorld San Antonio is a first-of-its-kind log flume attraction. The ride features eleven boats, holding eight riders each. After meandering through calm waters, Catapult Falls launches riders at speeds of 30 feet per second through the first splashdown. Soon enough, the attraction travels up a unique elevator lift and down a 53-degree drop, the steepest of any log flume.
Six Flags Over Texas Announces 2024 Park Improvements
Six Flags Over Texas, the Thrill Capital of Texas, today announced new park enhancements for the 2024 season. One new ride, Sylvester and Tweety Pounce and Bounce, and one returning ride, Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters, will be coming to the Bugs Bunny Boomtown section of the park Memorial Day weekend. A retheming of the classic Chaparral Antique Cars into Dino Off Road Adventure will follow later in the summer.

The highly anticipated thrill ride is the world’s first launched flume coaster and features the steepest drop in any flume ride. Today, SeaWorld San Antonio announced that their new Catapult Falls attraction will be delayed until 2024. SeaWorld sent the update to pass members, which states, “Our upcoming attraction Catapult Falls - the first launched, flume coaster in the world - is now expected to open in 2024. While we hoped to introduce this exciting thrill to our fans this year, sometimes it takes longer than expected to bring ‘firsts’ to life.”

Six Flags Over Texas announced today that passholder previews will take place for the all-new Aquaman: Power Wave roller coaster on two weekends leading up to the ride’s grand opening. When it opens, the high-thrill Aquaman: Power Wave water coaster will be the first ride of its kind to debut in North America.

Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, on behalf of DC, is the first of its kind in North America and opens to park guests on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

SeaWorld San Antonio today announced the construction of a NEW water flume coaster, Catapult Falls, coming in 2023. The first-of-its-kind ride combines the thrill of a launched roller coaster, the excitement of a vertical lift elevator that lifts riders above the theme park, and a water flume ride with the steepest drop, to produce multiple rushes of adrenaline as well as moments of exciting splashes to cool guests down.

Pirates of Speelunker Cave opened at Six Flags Over Texas on May 14, 2022. Riders board the attraction and venture into Speelunker Cave. Soon enough, you are greeted by a band of pirates looking for lost treasure. Upon bracing a storm, a kraken, mermaids and more, the exploration takes riders deep into Speelunker territory.
Ride Spotlight - Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger at Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger, the world's steepest B&M dive coaster, officially opened on July 30, 2022 at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The park's 11th roller coaster, Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger reaches speeds of 60 miles per hour and a height of 150 feet. Riders are hung over the attraction's 95-degree first drop before plummeting down and into two inversions.

Pirates of Speelunker Cave Opens at Six Flags Over Texas | Full Ride POV, Queue Walk-Through & More
Pirates of Speelunker Cave is a re-imagining of one of the park’s first attractions, The Cave, that operated from 1964 until 1991 and replaces the current version of the attraction—Yosemite Sam and the Gold River Adventure. The Cave featured original characters called Speelunkers that were created exclusively for Six Flags Over Texas. The new ride features projection and immersive sets, custom soundtrack, sixty-four Speelunkers and no height requirement with an accompanying adult.
60th Anniversary Announcement - Pirates of Speelunker Cave Coming in 2022! | Six Flags Over Texas
On Thursday, August 5, Six Flags Over Texas park president Ron McKenzie made an exciting announcement about what lies ahead and pay honor to how it all began at the park. On top of information regarding upcoming events and the progress of Aquaman: Power Wave, McKenzie also announced the return of the Speelunkers! This time, they will be integrated with a pirate theme and taking back their home location most recently occupied by Gold River Adventure.

Dare Devil Dive Flying Machines, a Zamperla Super Air Race, officially opened at Six Flags Fiesta Texas on March 6, 2021. Riders board six plane units and reach heights of 48 feet. Spinning at 6.5 RPM, each ride unit features a different, unique cycle. The attraction also features extensive steampunk theming, a custom soundtrack and several lighting and fire effects.
