SeaWorld San Antonio today unveiled its plans for an ALL-NEW friendly world of discovery, the Rescue Jr. hub, set to open Spring 2025. This immersive, hands-on adventure zone will transport young guests into the heart of SeaWorld’s animal rescue efforts, where they’ll tackle immersive rides, conquer towering climbing structures, splash through vibrant water features and bring to life the rescue and rehabilitation work the SeaWorld team does.

The Seven Seas Food Festival has made its way back to SeaWorld San Antonio on select dates from March 21 to May 27, 2024. This year's festival features over sixty fresh global cuisine choices, along with over fifty specialty beverages. Catapult Falls at SeaWorld San Antonio is a first-of-its-kind log flume attraction. The ride features eleven boats, holding eight riders each. After meandering through calm waters, Catapult Falls launches riders at speeds of 30 feet per second through the first splashdown. Soon enough, the attraction travels up a unique elevator lift and down a 53-degree drop, the steepest of any log flume.

Aquatica, Texas’ best waterpark, will open Tikitapu Splash in 2024. This all-new multi-level water-play attraction is a combination of water elements and features that will include four exciting water slides, three giant bucket dumps, and refreshing splashes that come together to create the ultimate water playground. With over 15,000 square feet for guests to splash through, visitors can get soaked, cool off from the Texas heat, and romp through the interactive water wonderland. Ideal for the young and young at heart, Tikitapu Splash will provide plenty of fun and creative ways for guests to get soaked.

Because of construction associated with a multi-million-dollar expansion, the unique Morgan’s Wonderland theme park will be unable to deliver its “A Wonderland Christmas” package of special entertainment this December, however several thousand Morgan’s Wonderland annual membership holders and season pass holders still will be able to enjoy holiday entertainment thanks to the generosity of SeaWorld San Antonio.

SeaWorld San Antonio’s 2023 Howl-O-Scream event features six haunted houses. Amongst the offerings is Bunny Bradley’s Ice Cream Shoppe, which is the newest addition to the line-up this season. Enjoy full video POVs of each haunted house from this year’s Howl-O-Scream Halloween event.

SeaWorld San Antonio is thrilled to announce the beginning stages of the installation of a state-of-the-art solar parking lot canopy. This landmark project will not only provide valuable shade to visitors during extreme heat but will also help SeaWorld make significant strides towards a more sustainable future, something embedded in its mission. The solar canopy, boasting a capacity of 4.3 megawatts (MW), showcases the company's unwavering dedication to environmental responsibility.

Sinister scares are everywhere at SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream, recently named the #1 Best Theme Park Halloween Event by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream was voted to the top by theme park enthusiasts and fans of fear across the country. Howl-O-Scream events in Orlando, San Antonio and San Diego boast menacing scare zones, terrifying haunted houses, signature shows and more horrifying fun throughout the three SeaWorld parks.

SeaWorld is dimming the lights in its Sea Star Theatre and featuring a new glow-in-the-dark puppet show musical, ImaginOcean. This theatrical performance is packed with a fun musical score, amazing puppetry, and dazzling neon colors. Created by Broadway sensation John Tartaglia, this one-of-a-kind show is a must see for summer 2023. The glow-in-the-dark spectacular will join an already impressive lineup of amazing shows and is the perfect summer entertainment for families.

Aquatica San Antonio, located at SeaWorld San Antonio, is a large theme park that features several high-thrill slides and plenty of children's activities. Guests can enjoy attractions, such as Ihu's Breakaway Falls, Tonga Twister and Riptide Race. New for 2023 is Kata's Kookaburra Cove, a 3,000-square-foot children's area with interactive water elements. SeaWorld is kicking off spring 2023 with the city’s biggest and best food festival, now packed with more flavor than ever! This year at San Antonio’s largest theme park food festival, foodies can enjoy over 100 chef and mixologist-curated tastes inspired by cultures from across the seven seas. Guests can sample and sip international flavors from Brazil, Korea, Italy, Greece, Hawaii, Japan, France, Jamaica, Mexico, and Germany. The festival takes place every Thursday through Sunday from March 23rd through May 21st.

SeaWorld and Aquatica are opening daily for the 2023 Spring Break season beginning March 3, 2023.
