Fright Fest has returned to Six Flags Over Texas and takes place on select dates through October 31. This year's event features two new haunted houses, five new scare zones, several exciting new entertainment offerings and decor spread throughout the park. Kids Boo Fest 2023 at Six Flags Over Texas, Plus Daytime Scare Zone Walk-Throughs
Kids Boo Fest, Six Flags Over Texas' family-friendly Halloween celebration, takes place on Saturdays and Sundays through October 29. The event features costume contests, the Crazy Hay Maze, a trick-or-treat trail, Looney Tunes dance parties and more. We also take a daytime tour of all seven of the park's Fright Fest scare zones.
Oktoberfest Returns to Six Flags Over Texas With Even More Food Offerings & Live Entertainment
The Oktoberfest Food Festival has returned to Six Flags Over Texas on select dates from September 2 to October 31. Taking place along the park’s Smith Street and Old South area, the festival features a number of German-inspired food and adult beverage options with expanded menus for 2023. This year's event also features new live entertainment, photo opportunities and games, such as cornhole and shuffleboard.
Oktoberfest 2023 at Six Flags Fiesta Texas | Event Tour, Trying New Foods, Enhanced Decor & More
The Oktoberfest Food Festival returns to Six Flags Fiesta Texas on select dates between August 26 and October 30. Coinciding with the park’s Fright Fest and Kids Boo Fest Halloween events, guests can enjoy craft and seasonal beers, specialty cocktails and several food offerings. For 2023, the event expands with additional entertainment, enhanced decor and a wider array of food and drink options.

Fright Fest at Six Flags Over Texas is coming up quick and the park is hard at work preparing for the Halloween event. This year's Fright Fest features several new entertainment offerings, including H.H. Holme's Freak Show in Southern Palace Theatre. Multiple new scare zones and haunted houses, such as Coven Cove, Lago de Miedo and Wrong Turn on Canal Street, will also make their debut in 2023.

Ride Spotlight: Multi-Angle POV - Pirates of Speelunker Cave, Six Flags Over Texas | 2023 Changes & Upgrades
Pirates of Speelunker Cave opened at Six Flags Over Texas on May 14, 2022 and sees many new changes for its grand reopening in 2023. Can you spot them all? Riders board the attraction and venture into Speelunker Cave. Soon enough, you are greeted by a band of pirates looking for lost treasure. Upon bracing a storm, a kraken, mermaids and more, the exploration takes riders deep into Speelunker territory. Over 60 Speelunkers greet guests with a custom soundtrack, projections and other effects. In the end, the pirates of no match for the Speelunkers and fail their treasure-hunting mission. Join us for a multi-angle POV of this attraction that revitalizes the classic Six Flags Over Texas character.
New Catapult Falls Ride Now Set for a 2024 Debut at SeaWorld San Antonio
Today, SeaWorld San Antonio announced that their new Catapult Falls attraction will be delayed until 2024. SeaWorld sent the update to pass members, which states, “Our upcoming attraction Catapult Falls - the first launched, flume coaster in the world - is now expected to open in 2024. While we hoped to introduce this exciting thrill to our fans this year, sometimes it takes longer than expected to bring ‘firsts’ to life.”

Carowinds In-Depth Tour | New Aeronautica Landing, 50th Anniversary Celebration & Epic Coasters
Carowinds theme park, which originally opened in 1973, is a unique attraction located on the border of North and South Carolina. The name Carowinds is in reference to the winds that blow across the two states. The park's original theme was centered around the history and culture of the Carolinas. Today, Carowinds is home to several high-thrill and record-breaking attractions, such as Intimidator and Fury 325. For its 50th anniversary, Carowinds debuted the Aeronautica landing area with a refreshed theme and several new attractions.
SkyLand Ranch's Wild Stallion Mountain Coaster POV | The Southeast's Longest Mountain Coaster
The Wild Stallion Mountain Coaster at SkyLand Ranch opened near the end of 2022 and features a track length of 6,600 feet, making it the longest attraction of its kind in the southeast. The Wild Stallion Mountain Coaster gives riders scenic views of the Smoky Mountains during the day and views of the illuminated Sevierville, TN surroundings at night.
Goats on the Roof's Goat Coaster POV | Craziest Mountain Coaster Experience in Pigeon Forge, TN
The Goat Coaster at Goats on the Roof opened in 2015, making it one of the original mountain coasters of the area. The attraction features a track length 3,061 feet and takes riders up the side of the Smoky Mountains. Reaching a top speed of nearly 30 miles per hour, the Goat Coaster can be controlled via manual brakes or riders can opt to travel as fast as possible down the mountain. The bonus? Visitors can also enjoy actual goats on the roof!
