Beginning November 9, SeaWorld San Antonio’s Christmas Celebration is back with plenty of holiday cheer, a re-imagined new block party, and new culinary delights for every palate! At Texas’ biggest Christmas celebration, millions of lights will be shining bright as guests enjoy the holiday fun.

Because of construction associated with a multi-million-dollar expansion, the unique Morgan’s Wonderland theme park will be unable to deliver its “A Wonderland Christmas” package of special entertainment this December, however several thousand Morgan’s Wonderland annual membership holders and season pass holders still will be able to enjoy holiday entertainment thanks to the generosity of SeaWorld San Antonio.

Cedar Fair (NYSE: FUN) and Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: SIX) today announced that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement to combine in a merger of equals transaction. The combined company, with a pro forma enterprise value of approximately $8 billion based on both companies’ debt and equity values as of October 31, 2023, will be a leading amusement park operator in the highly competitive leisure space with an expanded and diversified footprint, a more robust operating model and a strong revenue and cash flow generation profile.

SeaWorld San Antonio’s 2023 Howl-O-Scream event features six haunted houses. Amongst the offerings is Bunny Bradley’s Ice Cream Shoppe, which is the newest addition to the line-up this season. Enjoy full video POVs of each haunted house from this year’s Howl-O-Scream Halloween event.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas celebrated the October 14 annular solar eclipse in style with an exciting fireworks and drone show. During our visit, we also check out construction progress on Kid Flash Comic Coaster and get a glimpse of its Aurora LED light panels in action. SeaWorld San Antonio's Howl-O-Scream event is a spooky celebration, featuring multiple haunted houses, plenty of roaming monsters and live entertainment. This year, the park unveils the all-new Bunny Bradley's Ice Cream Shoppe haunted house, along with the first-ever Zombie Walk on Friday the 13th. The Halloween Spooktacular is taking place now at SeaWorld San Antonio. This daytime, family-friendly event features several trick-or-treat stops, a hay maze, live entertainment and more. SeaWorld San Antonio also has multiple construction projects, along with the massive solar energy project popping up in the parking lot.

Fright Fest has returned to Six Flags Fiesta Texas and takes place now through October 31. The Halloween celebration features several activities, including a new haunted house, a reimagined Monster Mash Bash show and several scare zones. Join us on a jam-packed adventure through the park with looks inside the haunted houses, in-depth scare zone tours, live entertainment and other Fright Fest festivities.

SeaWorld San Antonio is thrilled to announce the beginning stages of the installation of a state-of-the-art solar parking lot canopy. This landmark project will not only provide valuable shade to visitors during extreme heat but will also help SeaWorld make significant strides towards a more sustainable future, something embedded in its mission. The solar canopy, boasting a capacity of 4.3 megawatts (MW), showcases the company's unwavering dedication to environmental responsibility.

Though Six Flags Over Texas has not made an official announcement (and may not), the new 2024 El Rio Lento project appears to be quietly cancelled. Six Flags Over Texas is set to unveil El Rio Lento, one of the world’s longest log flumes. A makeover of the world’s first-ever log ride, El Aserradero, El Rio Lento will feature one new lift hill and two big drops, including a steep nosedive.

Introduced in 2012, come into Piggy's restaurant for a home-cooked meal only to realize you are the prime entree to be served on the restaurant menu! A staple to the park’s house line-up, guests entering will experience high-intensity scares and Piggy’s favorite friends.

Sinister scares are everywhere at SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream, recently named the #1 Best Theme Park Halloween Event by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream was voted to the top by theme park enthusiasts and fans of fear across the country. Howl-O-Scream events in Orlando, San Antonio and San Diego boast menacing scare zones, terrifying haunted houses, signature shows and more horrifying fun throughout the three SeaWorld parks.

SeaWorld San Antonio is thrilled to share that the much- anticipated “Catapult Falls” will now open in Spring 2024.  The groundbreaking coaster will be the world’s first launched flume coaster with North America’s only vertical lift.  It also will have riders screaming in anticipation of a speedy downward plunge with the steepest drop of any flume ride.

Fright Fest has returned to Six Flags Over Texas and takes place on select dates through October 31. Kids Boo Fest, Six Flags Over Texas' family-friendly Halloween celebration, takes place on Saturdays and Sundays through October 29. The event features costume contests, the Crazy Hay Maze, a trick-or-treat trail, Looney Tunes dance parties and more. We also take a daytime tour of all seven of the park's Fright Fest scare zones.

The Oktoberfest Food Festival has returned to Six Flags Over Texas on select dates from September 2 to October 31. Taking place along the park’s Smith Street and Old South area, the festival features a number of German-inspired food and adult beverage options with expanded menus for 2023. This year's event also features new live entertainment, photo opportunities and games, such as cornhole and shuffleboard.

The Oktoberfest Food Festival returns to Six Flags Fiesta Texas on select dates between August 26 and October 30. Coinciding with the park’s Fright Fest and Kids Boo Fest Halloween events, guests can enjoy craft and seasonal beers, specialty cocktails and several food offerings. For 2023, the event expands with additional entertainment, enhanced decor and a wider array of food and drink options.

Fright Fest at Six Flags Over Texas is coming up quick and the park is hard at work preparing for the Halloween event. This year's Fright Fest features several new entertainment offerings, including H.H. Holme's Freak Show in Southern Palace Theatre. Multiple new scare zones and haunted houses, such as Coven Cove, Lago de Miedo and Wrong Turn on Canal Street, will also make their debut in 2023.

The end of summer has approached, but Six Flags Over Texas isn't slowing down on park improvements.
