SeaWorld San Antonio's Christmas Celebration has returned and operates now through January 2. The event features exciting entertainment, such as O Wondrous Night, millions of Christmas lights, several photo opportunities, photos with Santa Claus and specialty food. Today, Universal Destinations & Experiences, a division of Comcast NBCUniversal, officially introduces Universal Kids Resort – the company's first-ever theme park designed specifically for families with young children. Located in Frisco, Texas and first announced earlier this year, this imaginative, original resort brings the company's innovative style of storytelling to a new, younger audience.

Holiday in the Park 2023 takes place at Fiesta Texas now through January 7. The event features award-winning entertainment, including the popular Majesty of Christmas and all-new Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol in Rockville High. Holiday in the Park also transforms Fiesta Texas into a festive wonderland of Christmas lights, holiday activities, specialty food offerings and visits with Santa. We also take a look at the recently-opened Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster in action, along with the progress of the park's 2024 DC Universe expansion that will feature three new rides.

The original Six Flags theme park, Six Flags Over Texas, officially opened on August 5, 1961. Themed around the six flags that had flown over Texas, the park's original concept featured first-of-its-kind attractions, heavily-themed areas and a major focus on entertainment and guest experience. Six Flags Over Texas saw tremendous growth in the 1960s. Marquee attractions, such as the El Aserradero log flume, the Runaway Mine Train roller coaster and hundreds of thousands of dollars invested into entertainment, highlighted the decade. A new animal attraction is quickly taking shape at SeaWorld San Antonio, but its residents might be a bit slow while roaming around their new home once it is completed. One of the largest tortoises in the world, the Aldabra tortoise – a species currently listed as vulnerable - will soon have a new habitat at SeaWorld San Antonio. Aldabra Island, a new state-of-the-art 7,000 square-foot tortoise habitat will be the perfect size to accommodate the giant reptiles that can weigh upwards of 500 pounds and stand four feet tall.

Beginning November 9, SeaWorld San Antonio’s Christmas Celebration is back with plenty of holiday cheer, a re-imagined new block party, and new culinary delights for every palate! At Texas’ biggest Christmas celebration, millions of lights will be shining bright as guests enjoy the holiday fun.

Because of construction associated with a multi-million-dollar expansion, the unique Morgan’s Wonderland theme park will be unable to deliver its “A Wonderland Christmas” package of special entertainment this December, however several thousand Morgan’s Wonderland annual membership holders and season pass holders still will be able to enjoy holiday entertainment thanks to the generosity of SeaWorld San Antonio.

Cedar Fair (NYSE: FUN) and Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: SIX) today announced that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement to combine in a merger of equals transaction. The combined company, with a pro forma enterprise value of approximately $8 billion based on both companies’ debt and equity values as of October 31, 2023, will be a leading amusement park operator in the highly competitive leisure space with an expanded and diversified footprint, a more robust operating model and a strong revenue and cash flow generation profile.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas celebrated the October 14 annular solar eclipse in style with an exciting fireworks and drone show. During our visit, we also check out construction progress on Kid Flash Comic Coaster and get a glimpse of its Aurora LED light panels in action. Plus, another guest-favorite attraction reopens after awaiting parts.

SeaWorld San Antonio's Howl-O-Scream event is a spooky celebration, featuring multiple haunted houses, plenty of roaming monsters and live entertainment. This year, the park unveils the all-new Bunny Bradley's Ice Cream Shoppe haunted house, along with the first-ever Zombie Walk on Friday the 13th. The Halloween Spooktacular is taking place now at SeaWorld San Antonio. This daytime, family-friendly event features several trick-or-treat stops, a hay maze, live entertainment and more. SeaWorld San Antonio also has multiple construction projects, along with the massive solar energy project popping up in the parking lot.

Fright Fest has returned to Six Flags Fiesta Texas and takes place now through October 31. The Halloween celebration features several activities, including a new haunted house, a reimagined Monster Mash Bash show and several scare zones. Join us on a jam-packed adventure through the park with looks inside the haunted houses, in-depth scare zone tours, live entertainment and other Fright Fest festivities.

SeaWorld San Antonio is thrilled to announce the beginning stages of the installation of a state-of-the-art solar parking lot canopy. This landmark project will not only provide valuable shade to visitors during extreme heat but will also help SeaWorld make significant strides towards a more sustainable future, something embedded in its mission. The solar canopy, boasting a capacity of 4.3 megawatts (MW), showcases the company's unwavering dedication to environmental responsibility.

Though Six Flags Over Texas has not made an official announcement (and may not), the new 2024 El Rio Lento project appears to be quietly cancelled. Six Flags Over Texas is set to unveil El Rio Lento, one of the world’s longest log flumes. A makeover of the world’s first-ever log ride, El Aserradero, El Rio Lento will feature one new lift hill and two big drops, including a steep nosedive.

Fright Fest takes place at Six Flags Over Texas now through October 31. Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the iconic Piggy's Blood Shed haunt, along with a full POV of the house in action. Introduced in 2012, come into Piggy's restaurant for a home-cooked meal only to realize you are the prime entree to be served on the restaurant menu! A staple to the park’s house line-up, guests entering will experience high-intensity scares and Piggy’s favorite friends.

Sinister scares are everywhere at SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream, recently named the #1 Best Theme Park Halloween Event by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream was voted to the top by theme park enthusiasts and fans of fear across the country. Howl-O-Scream events in Orlando, San Antonio and San Diego boast menacing scare zones, terrifying haunted houses, signature shows and more horrifying fun throughout the three SeaWorld parks.

SeaWorld San Antonio is thrilled to share that the much- anticipated “Catapult Falls” will now open in Spring 2024.  The groundbreaking coaster will be the world’s first launched flume coaster with North America’s only vertical lift.  It also will have riders screaming in anticipation of a speedy downward plunge with the steepest drop of any flume ride.
